What You Will Need:
1 Keto Co. Scone Premix
¼ cup double cream plain yogurt
1½ tbsp melted butter
1 egg
1 cup grated cheddar
5 slices streaky bacon crispy and crumbled (optional)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Mix together lightly beaten egg, melted butter and yogurt in a bowl.
- Pour the premix into a bowl and stir in the spices and herbs and mix well.
- Make a well in the center and pour in the liquid. Gently combine until the dough comes together. Don’t over mix.
- Add in your cheese and bacon and mix so it spreads evenly.
- Roll dough between two sheets of parchment paper roughly 4 cm thick. Use a circular cutter to cut out your biscuits.
- Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the tops with a little beaten egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden on top.
