Cheddar Biscuits

What You Will Need:

1 Keto Co. Scone Premix

¼ cup double cream plain yogurt

1½ tbsp melted butter

1 egg

1 cup grated cheddar

5 slices streaky bacon crispy and crumbled (optional)

1 tsp salt

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Mix together lightly beaten egg, melted butter and yogurt in a bowl.
  3. Pour the premix into a bowl and stir in the spices and herbs and mix well. 
  4. Make a well in the center and pour in the liquid. Gently combine until the dough comes together. Don’t over mix.
  5. Add in your cheese and bacon and mix so it spreads evenly.
  6. Roll dough between two sheets of parchment paper roughly 4 cm thick. Use a circular cutter to cut out your biscuits.
  7. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the tops with a little beaten egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden on top.
